Ink Therapy Tattoo Agreement 


This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between ______________________, hereinafter referred to as the "Artist," and ______________________, hereinafter referred to as the "Client," effective as of date _______________.

**1. Deposit Amount:**
The Client agrees to pay a deposit for the tattoo service rendered by the Artist. The deposit amount shall be the equivalent of 1 hour of tattoo time for small to medium tattoos, or $400 for larger tattoos, sleeves, or larger body pieces. The Client acknowledges that the deposit price is subject to the discretion of the artist based on the complexity and size of the tattoo, and that this is an informal estimate of deposit pricing.

**2. Understanding of Deposit Purpose:**
The Client acknowledges that the deposit serves as a down payment for initiating the creative process. It covers the Artist's time and effort, including research, sketching, and conceptualization, before the design process commences.

**3. Creative Process and Decision Making:**
The Client understands that the creative process varies for each design and may require additional time and possibly extra payment. The Artist will continue to work with the Client until they are satisfied with the design. However, the Client acknowledges that the Artist has the right to take creative freedom based on the Client's preferences.

**4. Rescheduling and Cancellation:**
The Client must provide at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule their appointment without forfeiting their deposit. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, and the creative process must restart.

**5. Non-refundable Deposit:**
All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances once the transaction is made. This includes rescheduling, cancellation, or dissatisfaction with the design.

**6. Client Conduct:**
The Artist reserves the right to cancel the tattoo process and remove the Client from the shop if the Client behaves rudely or disruptively or wastes the Artist's time.

**7. Time Frame and Completion:**
The Client acknowledges that there is no specific time frame for completion of the tattoo. The design/tattoo process requires full commitment and clear direction from the Client. The client understands that the artist cannot fully do their job. If the client does not have a clear understanding of what he or she wants. The artist can make creative suggestions however with the knowledge they have been given, as the client may not know of certain styles or processes.
